劉潔芝自二○○七年開始跟隨黃健羭學習管風琴，於香港中文大學取得音樂學士學位。畢業後赴英國皇家音樂學院繼續研習，獲學院獎學金 Christopher & Susan Gordon-Wells Award，修畢音樂碩士課程。在修習期間，師從David Graham主修管風琴，並隨Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin修讀管風琴即興演奏。 二○一二年，劉氏獲Eric Thompson Trust贊助，參加荷蘭哈勒姆國際管風琴節。同年，奪得蘇格蘭格拉斯哥管風琴師協會主辦之Paisley Abbey Organ Competition比賽冠軍及David Sanger/Bach Memorial Prize。 在倫敦留學期間，劉氏曾任多爾斯頓聖三一堂的管風琴師，並於英國各地演奏。因對室樂及合唱音樂有濃厚興趣，在歐洲經常參與室樂的演出；回港後亦為不同合唱團的演出擔任伴奏，包括香港中文大學崇基合唱團、香港浸會大學合唱團及雅謌合唱團等。 劉氏現為赤柱聖士提反堂風琴師，並為聖詠小組、香港聖樂促進會講座詩班及九龍區詩班司琴。
