Leung is the Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Strings Orchestra, violin tutor at the H.K. Academy for Performing Arts and instructor performer of H.K. Music Office, first violin of the DeBonair String Quartet. He is the Junior Strings Orchestra conductor of the Diocesan Boys’ School Primary Division & Kowloon True Light School (Primary Section). He teaches violin and viola classes at Diocesan Boys School, and the Primary Division. He had taught in La Salle College, St Paul College (Lam Tin), Pui Ching Primary School, Kei Wan Primary School, and Our Lady’s Primary School.
Leung graduated from D.B.S., studied music at the HKAPA, went to Lamar University (USA) with Full-Scholarship in 94, major in Violin, minor in Piano and Viola. After receiving his Bachelor Degree in Music Performance, Leung pursued Master Degree in Music Performance at University of Houston (USA) graduated in May 2001. Leung got many Prizes in the HK Schools Music Competition, had represented Hong Kong to participate an International Art Festival in Aberdeen, Scotland. Leung was selected several times by the HKAPA to perform at the Ex-Governor House; moreover, member of the Asian Youth Orchestra in 92 & 93 toured many countries. In 97, Beaumont Baroque Ensemble invited Leung to play in the Concert tour in Germany. Leung had performed solo recitals in America, Hong Kong, GuangZhou and Shanghai.
Leung put his mind at education after returning HK, held several educational recitals, and his students got many prizes in different music competitions. Besides, Leung performed with many artists such as Jacky Cheung, Faye Wong, Leo Gu, Liu Chia Chang, Koji Tamaki, Paul Wong, Lily Chan, Louis Yuen, Vanessa-Mae, and Robin Gibb. Recently, being appointed by The China Artist Association as adjudicator in Music Competitions.
