CHAN has performed as a freelance musicians for six years for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. He has participated in a number of opera and ballet projects, including the Romeo and Juliet with the Hong Kong Philharmonic; the Nutcracker performed in Italia Festival and Tokyo Festival with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. He has also collaborated with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on Mahler projects. Besides classical world, Chan engaged in many musicals and pop music concerts. He has been invited to be one of the violinists to perform in the world famous Broadway musical \u201cThe Phantom of the Opera\u201d during their world tour in Hong Kong in 2006. He has also performed with many famous pop singers and composers including Eason CHAN, Jacky CHEUNG, Alan TAM, Leo KOO, Joey YUNG to name a few. CHAN performed in the Welcome Ceremony of the President of the International Olympics Committee Count Rogge for the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. He was also being invited to be the concert master for the Koji TAMAKI world tour Orchestra in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>CHAN has been invited by LEUNG Kin-fung to play as the Second Violinist for the Hong Kong Pure Strings since 2009 and published their New CD \u201cSurprise\u201d in 2009 and \u201cFrom Here To There\u201d in 2011. They started their Asia tour in 2010 and performed in the Shanghai World Expo.<\/p>\n<p>CHAN is currently acting as Hong Kong Orchestra concert master. He is also the founder of the Hong Kong Mr. Quartet and Hong Kong Performers Orchestra. Mr. Quartet was invited to collaborate with the City Contemporary Dance Company to perform in the \u201dContemporary Music Festival: Hong Kong Delights\u201d in June, 2019. CHAN has been invited to act as the adjudicator for the Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival competition since 2017. CHAN is currently the director of the Symphony Orchestra at the Christian Alliance International School and the conductor of the Senior String Orchestra at Ying Wa Primary School.
