At the request of a former French prime minister, Dr. Huang made his concert debut in Salle Gaveau , Paris, which received the following favourable review by French Olyrix Magazine: \u201cThe sound production is solid, projected and resonant, its highs assured. It also shows the great work done musically in Werther, the range not posing a problem for him.\u201d. Dr. Huang has been regularly invited to perform in major concerts and important events, including the Centennial Celebration Concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the UNICEF \u201cUnited for Children\u201d fundraising concert, the Orbis \u201cMusic of Lights\u201d charity concert and the Operation Smile. Dr. Huang also played the leading role in many operas, such as Don Jose in the French opera \u201cCarmen\u201d, Romeo in \u201cRomeo and Juliet\u201d, Gaston in the Italian opera \u201cLa Traviata\u201d and Ruiz from \u201cIl Trovatore\u201d. In terms of oratorios, Handel&#8217;s \u201cMessiah\u201d, Haydn&#8217;s \u201cGenesis\u201d and Mendelssohn&#8217;s \u201cElijah\u201d are also works that Dr. Huang specialises in performing.
